About Care To Share
Little gestures can go a long way
How often do we hear someone say "Huh, who am I! ... no one will listen to me" of course, if we don't speak or share our thoughts, no one will! It's also true that not everyone has the time, resources or skills to make a big deal out of what we stand for. But still, as I am convinced that every good intention, no matter how small will have an impact, I took the jump and launched my idea through my first website, Cosmic Sparkle, in June 2002.
So, what is Care To Share?
Linkware was originally created by graphic designers as a advertisement tool. The artist offers web sets and other graphics that are free to use as long as you provide a link back to the web site of the designer. A clever concept and it works both ways! This made me think.... is there a way to use this 'share' principle and create a new concept connected to a good cause?
When I was contemplating about the many ways to help good causes, I discovered a way that was not yet used on the web and ... Care To Share, AKA Linkware for the cause was born.
Care To Share is sharing information and awareness about good causes. A special link code (or button) is attached to the Care To Share linkware sets and it is mandatory to link this to a good cause of your choice, or one of the causes from the suggestion list, on every page that you use the graphics.
Care To Share is a non-profit section of Cosmic Handmade. A link back to credit Cosmic Handmade for the graphics is appreciated but not necessary.
The Care To Share Mission Statement
CTS is dedicated to achieve more awareness, understanding and support for people and animals in need, using the internet to communicate this within and outside the Country Graphic Web Community.
By sharing my original work - Care To Share - free of charge in exchange for a link to a good cause, I aim to increase traffic to websites of charities, non-profit and support organisations. These organisations often rely on voluntary help and donations.
Care To Share terms of use
The main principle of Care To Share is sharing information and awareness for the good cause. It is therefore mandatory that you link the special provided link button (provided with every set) to a good cause of your choice, or one of the causes from the suggestion list, on every page that you use the graphics. This link needs to be clearly visible on your website. A link back to Cosmic Handmade is appreciated but not necessary.
Adoptions
All other linkware offered in Care To Share - Linkware for the cause (adoptions, mandalas etc.) must be linked to: www.cosmichandmade.com/caretoshare/ on the page where the graphic is displayed using the certificate to link back or to a specific page at Care To Share or a good cause, these details will be send to you with the requested adoption.
No hatred or abuse
If you choose to use my linkware graphics, your site should not support or encourage abuse to humans or animals, hatred, illegal activities, discrimination or anything that degrades any race or group of people. Please let us respect each other and give the right example ~ tolerance.
Downloading the graphics
It is not permitted to download any graphics from this site, unless specifically indicated otherwise. Where permitted you may download the graphics to your own computer, never direct link to any item on this site.
